Though adding additional knights to combat rights (maybe other students, or squires, knights, masters) would be great. But i have no issues as it is.
How is jousting immersion breaking? sure if you coud redo it over and over but more then once woud surley be ok :p
Not arguing just curious. How would jousting be an immersion breaker?
Time period wise, it's a little late for it (still happened though of course, It didn't die off until the late 16th century) And wasn't that popular to begin with... It was used as a judicial combat sport mainly by noble born people.
Also just because Jousting is cliche for meddieval fantasy? I feel like implicating it would be have to be a story-related event.. and not just a random everyday activity you can go though.
Again, i'm okay with it. but i'd personally like it if it was strictly quest/story related.
For instance left and right direction can be swings, lower direction attacks are uppercut and high attacks are slams.
You can use heavy or light variations of each direction, and maybe kicking can be applied instead of being used with F.
Would be nice if Kicks can be utilized in sword combat though to quicky 'stun' a enemy if they are keen on blocking attacks.
Now you can duel whenever you want without having to hunt him down. Just remember which save it was and don't ever delete it or write over it. Feel free to update if you significantly develop your gear to the point that you would rather practice with your new loadout.
