Beggars' feast quest

For some reason I have no dialogue option to give the boar meat and lepiotas to Alex the beggar from Skalitz. The quest is active and updated but there is no way to give him the stuff. Has anyone encountered the same bug ?

got the same problem with alex .it also happened with the hunt mission for deer. I did that at a later point in the game and now it seems to be bugged.

Any solution? I just stumbled upon this bug as well. Cannot turn the quest in and I have the meet in my inventory. I though this might be fixed after the patch...

Does the objective in the journal say that you have the required amount of meat?

I have the same problem except mine is for hare meat. No matter how much meat I have in my possesion, no dialogue ever comes up to give him the meat, thus the quest is sort of busted since you have no way to finish or delete it. Everytime I go hunting and kill hares, a box pops up saying take the meat to Alex, even if I am clear accross the map, but when I do, he never takes it!

You didnt cook the meat did you ? The quests to supply game all require raw meat, but cooked meat spoils slower, so I imagine some poachers habitually cook the meat at the earliest opportunity..

I'm guessing this isn't the case, another obvious thing like - is it on your horse ?

No, is not on my horse at time of contact with Alex and not cooked. I am having sort of the same problem bringing boar meat to Andrew at the Inn in the Glades, he is not acknowledging it when I show up with the goods!

For whatever reason, I just retried that quest, went to the woods, killed enough hares to make sure I had the specified number/weight, went straight to Alex, and he took them and put in a request for red deer meat. So, I guess whatever I did the quest is alive and well again.

It cannot have condition =0, and for deer, you need to ensure you have the right kind (Roe and Red deer are not the same animal, and have different meat, offal and hides).

For later quests, you can recover enough condition to pass the meat on by using a preserver potion for each piece which is 'off'. (Which isn't quite how preservation works, but it is what it is). Not worthwhile for bulk quantities of 'meat' but can be useful for the larger requirements of offal which is only present at 1 or 2 per animal.

Afterwards he asked for 45x boar meat once more, which may be because of the quest being broken.

Yes, I already figureded out the difference between red and roe deers, however, I often get red deer meat when I kill poachers or cumans camped out in the woods, can you use that if it is not cooked, anybody know?
