Lord Divish-HORRIBLE voice acting

Probably my only beef that really pulls me out of the game. He sounds like a 30 year old accountant.

I think the voice acting is fine but it doesn't match the character, agreed. In fact, the voice acting and the script writing in this game overall is the best I've seen in an RPG for some time. At least they do not have the same 4 people trying to do the voices for a hundred characters. (or if they did, they pulled it off without me noticing, unlike the first hour of any Fallout game or Skyrim where you are sitting there wondering, "Why do I feel like I know this person?" )

I figure it was somebody close to the game that did that voice. Not a voice actor. Ego trumps good decision making.

I personally like his voice actor. It's nice that not everyone you encounter is a gravel-filtered throat. He reminds me of a nice, Santa-esk grandfather, and his voice suits him fine.

Yup, only voice acting that I was thrown off about. The voice actor sounds about 30 but the Divish is like 70.

As a prelude i liked Divish's voice, it felt like he knows situation is dire and he kept his cool when he talked to the German CO of Sigismund. He lived a life of luxury so no need for rough voice for a Noble.

The game is of czech origin, developed by czech company with majority of devs czechs. It's fascinating what people can fabricate in their minds. If the voice does not suit your taste then fine. You got an opinion and I have an opinion, opinions are like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Everyone's got one.

Divish isn’t 70, come one. This thread was older than Divish.

Dude is out there fighting at one point. He’s supposed to be in his 50s or so, and very healthy for having lived the life of a noble. You don’t necessarily sound like you’ve got one foot in the grave as soon as you pass 35. . .
