How to repair the rest of my gear?
My maintenance skill us 20, and I have small and large of all 3 repair kits. I can always fully repair everything with my blacksmith kits regarding weapons and shield.

But I can't repair all of my armor, I usually can repair all items but 2 for both my armor and tailor kits. And the items are always the same two items every single time and they require repairing after every single battle - but the game always tells me my kits can't fix that item.

Are there Master repair kits?

Go to the armor trader and he will repair anything.

That's what I've been doing. Is the maintenance skill bugged? I feel like I should be able to actually repair all my gear if I'm max level.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, once I reached max level I should be able to repair any amount of damage

similiar to quite many perks in the maintance tree this is also a bug. i fear you gotta live with it for quite a while.

There's a mod that does this. Allows you to fix broken armor.
But without it, the gear needs to be above 60 or 70 I think so you can repair it.
It kinda makes sense if you think about it. If the armor has a hole or a big dent in it, you're not gonna patch it up in the wild. It would have been nice to be able to repair it at a forge like you do with weapons on the grindstone. But I think they didn't have time to implement it

The kits literally come with the stuff to repair dents and holes. Hammer, replacement mesh and chainmail.

But I guess I'll need to get this mod to fix this bug until they patch it.

Really? You're gonna fix a hole in a plate armor with a hammer, mesh and chainmail? You need a forge for that. Also to hammer out dents you need a damn anvil. Those don't grow on trees you know? Did you take a look at the stores? There's always a guy fixing stuff in all of them (well except the weapons dealer, his forge is in the back)

A hole in plate would be small enough to cover the crease with a hammer. Seriously, especially if it's caved inward.

And there are enough hard surfaces to hammer out a dent. Haven't you ever been a mechanic? You learn anything will do. But then for a permanent repair you need heat and a buffer.
