How to act with enemies grabbings?

yea - just want to know, cause i cant find any solution to it.

Like most of the time when i fight with an enemy, at some point they simply start grabbing my character and then isntantly hit me.
its also with normal blocking. Like i make a fint and they block it, after that they make a hit i cant block at all.

any idea how to deal with it? cause i havent found out how i could prevent it

Did some testing on this, and (XBOX Controller) if i hit LT(Kick) the clinch pushes them further, and RT/RB (Slash/Stab) have different animations. You increase your chances to win the clash by pressing any of the three.

Press F (keyboard) as soon as the clinch happens. If you do it first, you hit him instead of him hitting you. Any delay and you will likely be the one getting hit.

its not only that.
when im fighting, especially against onehanded and im on my optimal range and attack. There goes a small event i CANT block and they instantly hit me with their axes or maces.

i dont know how to cancel this

They parry and counter your attack. That's intended.

If they hit you with a Master Strike (it will be an animated attack) you can't block them. Enemies can't block your Master Strikes either
