What's Vatzek's reward teaching?

Hey, I did well on his chump contest and said he'd teach me something, but I didn't see any of my skills changing. Anyone knows whether it's bugged, or what it is that he gives?

Well it should increase Archery.

not so sure. i read the skill on bow said high lvl stops shaking and shoot better. got to high lvl and still suck :P gave up but i did get pretty far with it and got nothing

Ah thanks. Earlier I had a bow skill increase upon winning the contest, so it alone gives xp I guess. Then the way he said he's teach me something special, I just expected something... special.

On high levels the hands only shake once you run out of stamina

ahhh yeah i gave up archery though. shoot once with poison arrow, hits shield :P "melee time!!!

Pretty sure it's just an XP boost; like a free Training appropriate for whatever level you're at. Have gotten it twice now (not same playthrough...I'm sure it's probably only available once); each time I immediately popped another level in Bow skill.

it gives you 170xp to archery skill. I was confused also after completing it and loaded a passed save wondering if it had bugged on me. Checked stats before and after and it is a flat 170xp to bow skill.

I only had a bow lvl of 12 when I beat his high score and the shake was really bad. After his 'teaching' my bow xp didn't increase, however, the bow shake almost completely went away.
