I would really enjoy doing it as it's intended, but well... Then i poisoned their food and burnt their arrows. Slightly immersion breaking, lol
I won after losing like 20x. I only had to do these steps once to win. (zero sabatoge, fully svouted.)
She scouted, and after getting track by a gurd a little ways away from the camp, she knoced him out took his guear (without getting bloodied.) She stayed away from the guards, but just walked in wearing the enemies uniform. she couldn't get close to food without the "huh, whos that?" but snuck to the arrows and managed to sbatage them.
I personally didn't witness this, and shes the type that will reset if she messes up (even if nothing happens. So It could have taken some time.
I just scouted a went back to Razig and did the steps I mentioned. So, it's beatable without sab. Although the time I did win I went with the highest reinforcements. (my previous attempts where with the second highest.)
I didnt do any sabotage or sneak into the camp. I just went on the outskirts to the west and was able to get enough info to satisfy the quest and then I went to report to Radzig.
I had no problems taking on the camp with no sabotage.
Those big battles are really quite easy, the enemy is always distracted by your friends and getting in cheap shots from behind is not very difficult.
First you have to sneak and turn around the nest to right to see a hidden entry back the three guards.
In this entry you get a chest (easy lock) with a cuman armor. Use this armor (or another cuman armor but with full helmet) to infiltrate the cuman camp and you do objectives without risk. Except a cuman can intercept to question you, in this case dont speak with him, just reply "grrrr".
Next if you want infiltrate the adjacent bandit camp you must use another method I dont know wich at this time because I escaped after bandits discovered me despite my cuman disguisment..
Sure you can do it without sabotaging. But that's not my point. The plot theoretically enables to do some sabotage, why shouldn't it be possible to do it without glitches or with a reasonable difficulty? Why do such a number of people end up killing most of the guards? Bad videogame habits for sure, but also simply because the plot is broken or half so.
