How to block/remove the cuman killer perk
It's really not fun to kill everyone with one hit.

I know what you mean. While I don't have this ( yet ), I'm sick of the perks I've chosen making the game so easy. I have a feeling the combat perks were thought up late in development to appease more casual ( not in a bad way just don't know what to call it ) people.

They are tempting early game, but as you get better it's like having the training wheels still on when you're 25.

Yup, it makes the combos players learn completely unusable.

I was wondering about this, I don't really want to be godlike, I want the game to stay dangerous. Seems like I read that patch 1.3 will introduce the respec potion that will let us reset perks so that will be a big help. I've already taken a few I wish I had not.

this is exactly what you want, dowload the latest file and follow the directions, it's slightly complicated but if you have any experience with command consoles it won't be that advanced, make the shortcut like the instructions say, add -devmode to the end of the shortcut path and use these commands in particular for what we're trying to do

cheat_remove_perk
Removes the given perk from the player.

Arguments:
id: (required) The perk ID or all or part of a the perk's name. Uses last match from cheat_find_perks.

Examples:
Removes the last perk with 'hunt' in its name:
cheat_remove_perk id:hunt

Removes the perk juggler by ID:
cheat_remove_perk id:09a5f2a0-d59f-42c2-a80c-bec9ad7ca168

Removes the perk golden_tongue by full name.:
cheat_remove_perk id:golden_tongue

I suggest using borderless mode so you can tab to your browser and back to the game quickly while doing this

You can see if it worked by closing and opening the skills page in game, the undesired perk should now be gray. I don't know if you will have a chance to unlock the perk(s) again or not, as far as I'm concerned good riddance. ( You can indeed relearn a removed perk, I think you need to sleep first though )

To uninstall the " mod " just delete the .pak file from the data folder where you placed it.

A huge tip on making the process faster if you want to remove multiple perks, the UP arrow key can be used to show previously entered commands so you don't need to type " cheat_remove_perk " etc. over and over.

Make another save before doing this just in case, though it went perfect for me. When you're done just save the game, quit, delete the .pak file like I said before, and launch the game normally.

There are too many pages of comments for me to go through right now, but I DO NOT know if this DISABLES ACHIEVEMENTS or not, please let me know if I don't confirm or deny it sooner.

I'm going to just write remove perk here so others can find this post by searching, because god knows I couldn't find anything relevant
