Waldensian Quest Speech Check

I'm currently trying to convince Mistress Bauer to leave the farm. I understand a high speech skill is needed. I'm at base speech skill 9, with an additional +10 from various buffs, (total 19) AND EVEN THEN, she refuses to leave. I've told her that I work for the vicar and that it's God's plan for her to leave but it still fails.

How in the world am I supposed to convice her? What's the actual minimum requirement for the speech check, or does it only take into account my base speech and not the buffs? I have 12 charisma total now, if that has any bearing on the speech check.

Or has someone else succeeded in convincing her with less speech and this is just a bug on my end?

I really don't want to have to resort to the other option in this quest.

if im not mistaken only one of the dialouge options will actually convince her, your speech should be high enough but you picked the wrong chat option i think

i did it with 17(?), i think i told her that i ran away from Skalice

Used the potion of speech and wine buff.

I've looked at some youtube videos and read some guides - and they all tell her that they work for the vicar and then tell her that God has given her the chance to escape. So it seems like the right option. I'm just not sure why I can't do it.

Ok update: It still didn't work so I ended just moving forward with quest. Not sure if this is a bug or it's linked to my poor relationship with the town of Uzhitz - although my relationship with Miss Bauer is at 50 and not negative. Oh well.

eh i was at 12 speech and had to use bard's potion to pass that check

So definitely something weird on my part. I had base 9 skill, +5 from bards potion, +2 from alcohol and +3 from lowborn perk. So I had 19 total haha. I've seen youtubers do it with like 11-13 total.

are you choosing the right trigger? Right convo is god's will or something like that

Yep right trigger. Sent by the vicar and god's will. To be sure, I also tried every other speech option to no avail.

Yep thats how I ended the quest. I just didn't want to have to do it. Haha. Thaks for the help everyone.
