So I accidentaly shot my horse in the head....

Yeah.... I was riding down a dastardly Cuman and Epona's head popped up as I shot....

I can still use her inventory but she won't some when I whistle.

I thought I read that horses can't die so I just kinda left her there to recover and carried on my merry way. Been a couple days now and Im starting to get worried.

Anybody know if this is a bug or if horses take that long to recover or if they can die?

I did the exact same thing yesterday, running down a scum murdering bandit and I accidentally put a arrow in the back of my horse's head... Luckly he was ok, just a flesh wound I swear, It buffed right out.

Yeah, horse can die. Last time i saw "funny" thing/bug - quest with Bernard, he literally jump down on the horse form a bridge. it was too high so the horse died on the spot where he landed. Bernard has survived (?) but quest counts as failure lol
