Was fishing planned to be in this game?
I ran across a POI called Fishing Spot. This is different from the fish traps you can find. It kind of makes it seem like there was a plan to implement a fishing mini game that was cut or something.

I wondered the same thing, not being part of the Kickstarter I dunno but it sure looks like they had something planned, I've also seen a few NPC's sitting on the bank fishing with a pole, would be cool if we could that.

Yeah I'd have to say it almost had to have been planned & who knows maybe it will be part of some DLC or something. I mean there are just too many marked fishing holes & people fishing for it to not be anything lol

I never once find any fish in the fish trap, is that normal?

You can interact with the fish traps and get trout.

No, I've found fish in every one I've checked.

Very likely, and they half arsed removed it from the game and kept the obvious stuff in, like how they removed the 'gifting" to girls in this game, but its still an option available when you're in a courtship lol

More signs of how rushed this game is

I read somewhere that Deep Silver forced Warhorse into an early release date, contractual obligations...no wonder they had to cut some stuff and there are bugs, it's just the way the business works, hopefully Warhorse will be able to fix everything and add the cut content later on.

In February 2018, Koch Media and Deep Silver were acquired by Nordic Games, which had acquired other THQ franchises and intellectual property, and eventually began doing business as THQ Nordic.

Maybe that transaction is why Warhorse was pushed to release the game when they did.

I don't believe anything your sayiong now because you quoted Wikipedia, literally, the worst place to get info from. Instead of doing your due diligence and searching a few links down and going to i dunno maybe the game companies web site or some official game news website but nope your too lazy and just clicked the first link you saw which is Wikipedia, the worlds dumbest source of information.

BAD FORM, man bad form.

So you necro'd a thread just to chastise him for quoting wikipedia? Besides, does it matter that the information provided by the souce is authentic?

Our villagers seem to have a life of their own and getting food is a min one, that's why we see these fishing traps and fishing spots with small camps all over KCD rivers and streams areas.
The only quest we have near water is Chumps. You pay a bet that you can hit all the logs floating on the river. Talk to Bowman standing at the crossing Ledetchko

Another necro, but imagine unironically believing wikipedia is a bad source. If you can't use wikipedia as a reliable secondary/tertiary source, thats on you for being useless, not anyone else.
How come that's literally the first comment you've ever made on this handle?
