Not much of a spoiler for NOT saving Theresa and then speaking to her later, Henry botches a conversation regarding Theresa's rape and she questions Henry on how he knew. I don't know if this affects her potential romance quest.

Yes. Totally this! When you are about parallel to Theresa and the guards, whistle once or twice for your horse, Oleana.. One thing about this. Those guards will come after you with vengeance for disturbing them. All quests come with penalties. Be prepared to ride that horse like the wind!
