Rattay blacksmith wtf is going on?

So I go to the Rattay blacksmith whos located just outside the uper castle & his house is right next to his forge. I break in & search his house, on the bottom floor he a storage room in the back & inside that storage room he has a chest with a very hard lock. I broke into this chest & there was all kinds of awesome stuff inside........but then I quickly realized it was all stuff I already had....in fact the chest contained the entire inventory that my horse was currently carrying! So I thought woohoo! Even more free loot!.....Except that when you take it from the chest you do in deed take it from your horse's inventory.

So is the Rattay blacksmith a wizard? Why does he have a magical chest in his house that is capable of accessing my horse's inventory?

That might explain why some people reported items missing from their inventory. Must be that blacksmith with his magic chest.

I've lost things when putting them on my horse. Maybe the npc takes things from the chest. It was meat I lost so the ai behaviour for eating might have taken it.

Whoops...dev's crashed on that one, obviously thats the horse inventory container, it should be inaccessable from in game, like under the map terrain or in a wall ect. I think I'd report it in the bug section, they need to move it.

Yeah I did already lol be funny if the NPC actually does steal stuff from peoples inventories using that chest

Funny yeah...but still I'm inclined to think this is just an oversight from an overly tired programmer, that chest should not be accessible.
