Restless Spirit bug maybe (SPOILERS)
So in the quest Restless Spirit, I have to get this Necronomicon book for the apothecary in Rattay. The book should be in locked cabin in sasau monastery, but it isnt. I have tried to reload save if it would be that but no, it will not spawn there at all.

So, is there any other place that the book might be in or is it a terrible bug?

It is just positioned on a shelf, not inside a chest.

The book shows in rattay for me, and I checked everywhere but its not there, going to monastery soon I think so will check

I thought this too at first...are you using a torch, crouching? its on the left about the 3rd or 4th shelf. If you did use a torch and you stand and still dont see it then I guess it is a bug.

With cabin I meant shelf. I know the spot it should be in.

Well... Then I guess its a bug. Shame that this is the only quest that has bugged out for me. Hope they will fix it soon

Its not there for me either. Not going to lie some of the bugs in this game are really frustrating.. Have you found it by any chanse?

It's in the monastery in a locked closet in the library...

search the novices for it. i can't confirm it but it was once said that one of the 4 novices can carry the book with him.

The book is always in the cabinet in the monastery but if you previously opened it and didnt take both books one of them is gonna be missing.

nope.. isnt always there.. monks use that..

Dont lie. nobody uses those books, they are forbidden...

One novice does use it. He even tells this to you when you encouter him in the library during the night.

He uses book 2. If the book isnt there it is bug because you took only 1 and the other disappears.
