Beran's Cup?

I want to return his cup to him. Henry said he was a refugee in Rattay and dresses in red, but I can't find him. The guy dressed in red in Rattay is called Ringlet.

He is in Rattay but his position changes like with other refugees as well. Just have a look around everywhere, not just the main market place. They are sometimes near the church or behind some houses as well. He is definitely somewhere.

he is the one who argues with his wife when you first enter Rattay. If you cant find him try the beggar spots near Rathaus, upper main gate and behind the taverns(on the path of Rattay armory) other than that he may be a sleep at te skalitz folk camp near the lower gate

What do you mean he is called Ringlet? He doesn't have the option to give the cup? Is the guy actually named Beran?

Found him! He was behind where the tavern was. or around there along the wall where you can see him.

It's better to give Beran's cup back to him directly, instead of his wife, if you intend to give both the cup and the coin you found. The wife simply takes it all.
Beran himself, if you have already talked to Kunesh who tries to offer you a treasure hunt yet turn it down because of honesty -- Beran has an option to tell him that Kunesh was after his treasure.
As result, you get additional Reputation and Beran gives you some coin back (20g) along with some interesting dialogue about what Beran is going to do to Kunesh.

I found him in his bed at night, and waited for 8am to speak with him. He sleeps in the ditch in the southern rattay refugee camp. His wife(Berans Wife) sleeps below him. He sleeps above where the hog hangs out.

I just did this task. In a previous playthrough (on Playstation) I think I simply gave the cup to his wife, maybe I thought Beran was killed in the attack (?) However, I just gave the cup and coin back to Beran and told him Kunesh gave me the info on it's location. Immediately after the dialogue ended I was attacked by every single guard in the city and my reputation was noted as being very low and needing improvement. The funny thing is I don't steal from anyone at all and my reputation around the map is always high.
