i mean, why is 'drinking' a skill???
the only time i "drink" is when i save my game.
Yes, this is the important bit that isn't actually explained in the game. It technically isn't possible to "over boil" your ingredients. You do need to use the timer, but any time spent still boiling after the sand runs through, is completely ignored. Just make sure that if the recipe requires the brew to cool at any point, that you do actually wait for that. I waited for both a lack of bubbles AND the coals to stop glowing - but it's likely just about the bubbles.
if you press it 10 times you do not have to wait afterwards you just have to grind the beladonna and add it and then you can fill up the potion
1. Alcohol as a food item doesn't spoil.
2. As a food item, it has a pretty sizable nutrition value (fine wine is like 20).
3. The drunkeness mechanic has some benefits on its own
4. Potions count as alcohol as well, so being able to drink more of them or to stay standing while drinking is helpful.
The goal is to have Henry start at crap, and through practice be pretty capable.
