I'm not sure any of those npcs is unique though, at least the faint-hearted knight keeps respawning over and over again and I killed him so often it's not even fun anymore.
If faint-hearted can respawn, why couldn't book beggar.
Have you ever killed the honorable combat dude? Who wants to bet armor for 250 gold?
I've not. But I keep knocking him unconscious and looting everything he has and leaving him naked. And he thinks he won the fight.
I'm not sure, haven't seen him in a while. If I remember it correctly the first time I knocked him out, the second time I took the bet for the armor but failed. I may have killed him, bc I'm.. errr I mean Henry is a bad loser.
(But that doesn't mean he's gone forever. For example I haven't encountered the mercenary in my current 60h+ playthrough at all, only one time on my first one. It's pure RNG I guess)
I convinced the faint-hearted knight to go get laid and I haven't seen him since. I keep encountering that wayfaring knight though.
For me, I told him to go bang and he showed up later. So you might still see him again.
