apply potion

What does it do when u apply a potion to a weapon?

seems like it doesnt do anything most the time

i tried alot of the potion and yet to see many difference. poison/bane apparently feels like you kill faster for example those damn annoying wayferer mercs that challanges you to a duel i keep killing them by accident because my sword got bane potion on it.

dollpotion apparently should make them get tired faster but they die too fast to even see if it works so i gave up on that.

lullaby potion don't see it does anything.

witch potion i was hoping it make them go stoned and crazy but alas it doesn't do anything.

Some of those potions, (like lullaby) are intended to put into the wine at bandit camps. I think you can put it into pots too. (Not sure, haven't tried it). So when NPCs eat from it....

I need to put the Marigold decondation (?) on a weapon and see what happens. :)

poison and variants inflict the effect they are used for. Rest is just needles amount of waste

i thought of that too once but didn't want to take the chance. repairing so expensive :P
