Nightingale guard patrol quest (Keeping the Peace)

The quest says, and I quote: "Start patol from 11:00 to 19:00"... Nightingale only shows up after 12:00 (an entire hour past when your supposed to start the quest) and when you talk to him at 12:00 he says "You're too early, come back later tonight. I'll be by the church, the lower one." I'm not too early in fact technically I'm lait by an hour but at the same time I'm not because you were the one lait by an hour while I aimlessly walk around the church property looking for your ass... So when does this game want me to start the quest? Is it bugged? Someone please help me with this.. I'm tired of standing around the church so a fast answer would be nice...

Just wait until the next day. He wouldn't talk to me either the first day.

It's a daytime patrol. So it's 11am to 7pm.for those not familiar with a 24hr clock. Found him around noon time standing against the wagon just left of the archway as you enter the church area.

This isn't the first day, he said the same thing to me the first day I asked him so I thought I had show up at 11:00 to start the quest and since I didn't want to waist time I did other quests for a few days before getting in a position where I could sleep and then go straight to the church before 11:00 and wait for him to show up only for him to say the same as before. So I'm wondering what specific time I'm supposed to do this quest because it's not 11:00 or 12:00 apparently... Also thanks for the quick response and I hope you have more specific information on when to start the quest.

11:00AM is the same time as 11:00 on a 24 hour clock so idk what your point is? Also if it is 11 to 7 then why does he only show up at 12 and still not allow you to start the quest?

My point was not everyone understands that 1900 is 7pm. You have 11am till 7pm to show up and start it. You won't be the only person reading this thread.

Why it doesn't start for you? No idea. I just stated when and where it worked for me in hopes it would be of help.

I see, sorry for questioning your point but still begs to question why it wont start for me. If you could remember around the time you started the quest I can try that time and see if it works for me. Thats really what I'm asking for is when other people started this quest to see when I should try.

... Well I'm sorry for the hassle but it allowed me to join around 11:06. I followed him around and kept talking to him until it let me start. I should have been a tad more patient before posting this but at least this will help others with the same problem I hope.

If you could remember around the time you started the quest

Did say that he was found around noon. That is when I got there. Did the same as you and circled the church looking for him.

Anyway, glad you got it sorted out.
