Its a bit confusing, I'm still not too sure about unarmed combat but one thing that sucks with armed combat is that enemies seem to randomly do master strikes (like a chamber, they block and start an attack at the same time, and the tutorial says they are impossible to block and they seem that way) so I always feel like combat has a lot of rng because every time I swing at an enemy they might just randomly do a pro master strike on me and I can't do anything.
It would make sense if it punished you for doing things repetitively, if they see you always doing overheads as an opener they could master strike to push you out but it just seems like they have a % chance each swing...
I think this might be what they are doing in the unarmed combat aswell but im not sure
I'm about 35-40 hours in btw, I have 3-7 weapon skill in everything. I've trained quite a bit with the Captain, and that's actually exactly why I came to post this. He kept kicking me away every few seconds and I can't figure out why.
I also can't figure out the input to try a perfect riposte VS a perfect block, but I think that's a different issue.
