I'm trying to talk to this charcoil burner guy, and everyone at the camp only has the option to pickpocket, not talk to. What do I do?

the quest says to find some charcoil burners along the river/ look for smoke to know where they are. I'm at the camp where the smoke is / tried talking to everyone, but no one will talk to me, Is there a certain timeframe for them to talk to me?

The quest "ginger in a pickle" is bugged. I know exactly where you are because i was there too. I was stuck on it for an hour before i decided to cheat and google it to find out that the quest never even started after todays patch. Some threads about this glitch have even been closed. I'm sorry that innocent gamers like yourself have been victims to this and that theres even threads being closed about this. Its a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at its finest. Things like this make me wish i waited til this game was patched up and on sale before i purchased it.

so can I just skip it somehow? I'm showing the quest vengeance, can i just attempt to figure this one out and then be good from there?

Hmmm wierd. Try verifying your cache or restarting the game and see if that helps.

You are at the wrong camp, I completed this part of the main quest yesterday, there are several camps, I've searched for quite a while, too. However, I found the camp to the WEST of the area marked on the map, the camp is NOT in the orange area iirc.

if the quest isnt bugged why does it point ppl to the wrong camp ? if indeed you got it from a camp not listed ??
