You should be fine around medium settings.
Your system sounds similar to mine, I've been able to run fallout 4 and witcher 3 as far as newer games go. is it an hp laptop?
I know right, im able to run witcher 3, doom, dark souls 3 on ultra but im worried at this game. And i'd be really happy with ultra because this game looks so foken nice. And no, i have a pc, not a laptop. Im just asking because i cant get an answear.
Maybe it's just part of aging, but I'm slowly more and more ok with playing something on low. I'm almost sure I could push both games up to medium or so, but it's been so smooth and still looks good so I've just been happy. Really wish I had ordered kingdom come, going to have to wait a month now.
Good point. A lot of the stuff I'm turning off just seems to be dynamic effects, texture doesn't really take a huge hit.
Though my laptop seems inferior to that of the topic starter's.
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4710MQ CPU @ 2.50GHz
8 GB
Win 7
Nvidia GeForce GTX 860M
The 860M is generally slightly less capable than the 660, and the 760 is significantly faster.
The CPU (4710MQ) is substantially slower than the recommended minimum i5-2500K, but does do slightly better in multi-core, which will be an advantage here.
Not likely to be much you can do to improve either - but the 8GB RAM *might* be a project worth considering in the future?
Keeping expectations of IQ and framerate realistic, it will probably look better than PS4 or XB1 IMO, but not by very much... however you will have the option of mods on PC - these haven't been confirmed for the consoles at all yet.
That said I think the i5 2500K is not the weakest CPU which could competently run the game, and it compares very favourably to the AMD minimum specification.
I'm lucky to run what I do on my laptop.
