Of course it has HDR, like all other Cryengine 2+ games

Can you even name a single 3D game without HDR or a 3D game engine without HDR support from 2006+?

You obviously have never seen HDR, not all games have HDR support, very few has.
Hughesy Apr 17, 2019 @ 8:18am
No it doesn't have HDR10 support.

Seems like you are you new to PC gaming. One of first games (afaik) that had HDR was HL2: Lost Coast and its from 2005, pretty much every second 3D game on PC had HDR support.
You probably mean HDR10. No, this game doesnt have HDR10 support as Hughesy already said.

So whats the difference then between hdr10 and the other one?

Don't worry about it. Its mostly semantics.

The point is it doesn't have the HDR you are looking for but you can kinda slap it on there.

From another thread.

How do you do that?
Create a text file, write r_HDR = 1 in it and save.
Change the name of the file to "user.cfg" and put it in your game directory. Example:
\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\user.cfg

Then add this line in the games launch options:
+exec user
Really I wouldn't bother. Its good enough without it.

HDR10 is not a game render thing, it is a TV screen thing.

I've seen HDR in Lost Coast back in 2005 (and checked it out again today), and I definitely see plenty of it in KCD

It is a game render thing lmao. So much ignorance on this thread. You have to be running windows 10, have a HDR compatible graphics card, a HDR10 compatible TV and have HDR enabled in control panel, then find a game that supports it. There's a whole list of games if you search online. KCD isn't one of them though.

Ark Survival Evolved
Anthem
Assassin's Creed Origins
Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Assassin's Creed III Remastered
Battlefield 1
Battlefield V
Call of Duty WWII
Call of Duty Black Ops III
Crackdown III
Destiny II
Devil May Cry 5
Divinity Original Sin II
F1 2017
F1 2018
Far Cry 5
Far Cry New Dawn
Final Fantasy XV

Forza Motorsport 7
Halo Wars 2
