Not able to walk normally

Hey guys just picked up the game and I wanted to walk out of the house after the dialouge with ma. Then I just noticed that I'm unable to move normally. I can sprint and jump and crouch but normal walking is impossible. Does anyone know what the problem is?

um, did you press C to stalk if so press C again to stand up, sounds like you're stuck in the crouching :)

Nah I'm standing normally.

Ok.
Use the shift with the W to reset the walking to normal. I find after using the crouch ( C ) it doesn't always restore normal walking pace. Well its kind of fast lol.

doesnßt work either and caps lock isn't the problem

I just noticed that every time I press ALT + TAB I can walk normally until I open my inventory.If I close my inventory again I can't.

I found another glitch: In the state I'm unable to walk my character moves sprints aswell if I'm only pressing the SHIFT button.

Found out how to fix it: Just hold SHIFT so the character sprints automatically and then press CTRL while pressing SHIFT. The you should be able to walk normally again.

Holding the Shift is what I suggested lol it resets it.

Have you changed the bindings to specific keys?

All you have to do to walk at a normal pace is use your Caps Lock key. It's a mechanic that's introduced later in the game when you have to follow your first NPC.
