Second attempt, was too impatient, ended up boxing one of the lunatics in the mine, and maybe I would beat him, if I didn't get too close to some other guard, who eventually rushed to his aid. What are the odds?!!!
Third time's the charm, and wasn't meant to be either, if I remember, so for the fourth fucking time, I finally mustered my patience, at this point knowing the mines better than my horse's nutsack, and finally got through it.
There's a common thread running through all these types of posts.
It's a great game with some flaws. Do you randomly lurk on forums, just to be annoying, because you have nothing better to do with your time?
Didn't want to touch those yet.
Anyway, since we're at it - the game is fun so far, but also horribly frustrating and buggy. Tried the mines four times now. It's annoying how there is no way to judge the spotting distances. They are so random, it just doesn't make sense in a lot of cases. I had the guard glitched into the wall and spotting me on the ladder and the guy at the entrance spotting me running as soon as I saw "the light".
If the game wasn't that much of a buggy mess, it would be truly awesome.
Sometimes "we see things not as they are, but as we are."
It's actually a great dlc and most people enjoy it. Theresa can be quite deadly if you get her archery and stealth skills up a bit. I admit that groping my way around in the dark on hardcore mode to look for linen was a major pain in the ass. If I ever do that dlc again I'll have her buy a load of bandages before nightfall................. (big hint there).
