Lost Trinket achievement

Just got to the camp and talked to everyone, haven't progressed the BoB main quest yet, but got RIng of Bacchus quest and stolen the ring for the first time. However, I slept several times for about 5 to 8 hours and nothing happened to the ring. Is this a scripted event or chance one? Do I need to progress the main quest of this dlc?

Nevermind, I finally got it. For those who might have trouble like me: completed first two quests, Bad Blood and Uninvited Guests, then went back to camp, gave the ring to Stone, waited for several hours then talked to Stephan and got the task to steal the ring or bring Stephan sleep potion, stolen the ring from Stone, went to sleep at night and in my bed in the camp, and finally it happened.

The key player here is The Stone, and the damn bed.

1) Steal the ring for The Stone and give it to him, then wait for 24h.
2) Next, talk to Stephan and steal the same ring for him.
3) After stealing the ring from The Stone, don’t give it to Stefan. Instead, go to sleep.
Go to bed at 11 PM, when everyone’s asleep, and set the alarm for 9 AM.
Sleep on a free mat next to your comrades, not in your own bed!
While you’re asleep, The Stone will take the ring back, and you’ll receive the achievement. This is the only way to get it.

Finally, worked for me exactly as you say, only difference is I have only finished the first mission. Good thread
