Repeatable Rattay Tournament

I'm on the search for the counterfeiters and in midst of the quest line I get prompted to go to win the Rattay tournament, which will fail if I don't take part in it or lose. Do you know if the quest will stay there marked as ''Failed'' or will it disappear once a new tourney kicks in?

Once a week the Rattay Tourney is on so we see that until we try it and win.
Don't worry about failure its just a repeating temptation to annoy us into paying 60 groschen to get killed until we have reach a level to beat them all.
EDIT
It will remain a quest no matter how long.
I've played over 300 hours and still see it I'm at level 17 when I get to 20 its on and I will beat them all and win XD
I think we can unflag it in the inventory Quest tab db click that quest to remove the flag as active.

if i miss one of the tournaments will i still be able to win all the armor pieces?

Yes, but you start each time from the first fight.

by my count thats 5 pieces of armor. So there are more than just 5 tournaments right?

There is too many different approaches to the Rattay Tourney. When you enter it .

that answers some of my concerns. It says there are only 5 tournaments. What i still dont know is if i miss one does that mean i wont be able to get the full set of armor?

Nope, infact you dont HAVE to do it at all.
I completed the first one then went off to play dlc and other stuff and every week I see the Rattay Tourney is on and join bla bla then I failed. As I'm playing elsewhere.
Anytime its on I can go pay the money to the Herald and fight .
As far as I know you can do each set of rounds anytime you like. If you win and keep going you get the armor parts.
Did you just want the armor or the Arena achievement?

The Touneys never end. They only stop for a while when Hanush is at the siege of Talmberg. But before and after the siege they happen every week.

So you can get the Leipa armour whenever you want. In my first play through I must have spent a year in game messing about and must have seen twenty or more pop up.

Little advice which makes winning the tournament a walk in the park:
Train ripostes. You will win every fight effortlessly.

The tournaments are endless. Once you've collected the entire armour set, you'll receive random weapons each time you do it. But you can stop after completing the armour set and grabbing a certain sword (there's a different side quest), I never found use for the weapons that I'd won even before mid game. But you can still sell them for coin, so you might find some worth.

hello its actual now for me. if i understand correct the failure marker will disapear when comes new tournament next week ? in my statistic shown that i have one quest failed :( are statistik will changes back?
