Rattay tourney appearing too quick?
Fresh player here.

So I barely just finished the prologue and very soon I received the "Rattay Tourney" activity which is a tad too difficult for my lowly, traumatised Henry.

I did some research and I should in theory only trigger it once I arrive in a location called "Samopesh" which I obviously have never been to.

Now I know I can simply ignore the quest for now and try it once it reappears, but I get a "failed quest" in my statistics tab. I know I should care less, but it annoys me A LOT in role-playing terms to have a failed quest which I absolutely didn't intend to trigger.

Could you please tell me how exactly that trigger works? Can I do something to make it appear later?

There are plenty of "failed" notifications in KCD, so get used to ignore it.

Tourney happens every week, life in Bohemia simply goes on whether you participate or not.

don't go to the tourney until you've beaten captain bernard in training (with real weapons) at least once if you want a chance to win.
I understand how you feel when the quest is marked as "failed", but when you will eventually win the tourney, it will be marked as completed, and there will be no sign of a failed quest. Unless the next time you fail to appear or lose.

You can't do anything to make it appear later, it happens once a week.

Gracious Sir Hanush, can I humbly ask your Lordship to cancel the Rattay tournament because a random peasant from Skalitz named Henry is too weak yet to participate.

Id say he should be fine once you learn master strikes.
