Accidentally stole a sword
I was repairing and selling stuff to the sword shop in Rattay. I accidentally pressed e for too long and i picked up a sword. I wanted to talk to the man to sell some stuff. Then i got pounced on by 3 guys and the guards came for me. I didn't punch anyone and simply surrendered. I dropped the sword before the guard came. I had to pay a fee and then i saw that i lost 12 reputation on the citizenry and about 4 for the garrison. How do i get that reputation back with out losing an hours worth of gameplay?

Wait. If I'm not mistaken, crime rep losses go away over time. At least my 0 rep in Ledechko did after having murdered the garrison about 14 times in a row.

Ah so it goes away over time. My relationship ship with the guards and shopkeeps will be 100% again?

Not sure on that, I think it does though.

Because having enough arms and armor to gear up 14 garrisons is a great way to make money. I dunno what methods work nowadays, but it used to be I'd buy anything I wanted using the money I made selling all that armor and all the poached meat you could imagine. But now that you can't mount when overloaded... Dunno how I'd go about it. Used to even steal armorer's entire shop inventories. If my armor was damaged, I'd just swap it out for a new piece instead of repairing. I had sooooooooo much.

good maintenance skill and small X kits plus that lets you activate all the 'repaired yourself' perks that actually make your ♥♥♥♥ eleventy times better

Depending on where you are in the story, rep with guards should come back just by playing through the main story quests. Your reputation also goes up when you kill bandit camps in 'Ruined' side quest.

If you find yourself out and about on the roads outside of Rattay, you may also see some guards getting ambushed by some bandits or Cumans. Help out the guards by killing the bad guys, rep will go up there, too.

You can also 'Pay for Indulgences' in most churches which give a small rep boost. I haven't worked out the exact mechanic, but it seems to give a few points and can be done every couple of days at least, maybe more.

This is a classic problem from games like Oblivion, even "hold button" mechanic is not a real solution.

I ate from pots accidentally and got stuffed instead of cooking many times.

Interaction targeting in KCD is atrocious. No highlighting either

Couldn't agree with the interaction targeting more. It is pretty fustrating. Trying to collect herbs can be a tedious nightmare at times, and trying to collect my arrows from the ground and not the herbs...just a headache at times that I don't even bother.

Ive had that before. It's also frustrating to interact with a body in the grass. I may pick up the sword, shield or another herb.
