Did devs remove greetings to Henry?

This was a major complaint from me from day one, as not only were the constant greetings annoying, they were also completely immersion-breaking when being greeted by total strangers on a road in the middle of nowhere. It wouldn't have been so bad if they were unpersonalised, but being specifically aimed at Henry was ridiculous.

That said, no they haven't removed greetings entirely. I've still heard them a number of times since the patch. The difference is that they are now much less frequent, and that's a good thing!

Nothing says "immersion" like an apparently bipolar angry serial killer cannibal poacher in the woods that joyfully greets Henry then gets angry again

I think if you have exceptional reputation in the given area, some odd job may say "Hey, Henry's come to see us!" and you will reply with "I'm feeling kinda *Hungry*"

I mean if it's gone that sort of sucks. XD But at the same time it's pretty nice knowing I won't be greeted when i go to restart again.

Well, they could have dialed it back instead of eliminating it... and/or included something other than personal recognition as an optional phrase.

That's exactly what they did do, if you read this thread. And if you don't like it, you can mod the greetings back in in about 30 seconds flat.

They greet my very rarely. I just noticed what devs did :)

If you have really bad citizen rep they just scream and run. That's a much better greeting.
