A Womans Lot quest.

I am stuck on this quest in A Womans Lot, where you are supposed to find ♥♥♥♥ items in order to treat your brother. But where the ♥♥♥♥ are said items? Who designs crap quests like these in the first place? Honestly this is one of the worst missions i have played in any game in a long long time. Scurrying around in darkness where guards patrols to find bandages and stupid flowers.. i mean come on!

Can someone help me, what you are expected to do when the cumans attack? You stealth kill one in your house and then another 3 come in and what, they either see you and block your escape if you are in the room, or cant see you if you are upstairs but the moment you get down they see you anyway and ran after you, the dog is useless because it does nothing if you are already fighting and you cant outrun those bastards, what are you intended to do? I finally managed to do it by darting to the mountains and just one guy followed me, others glitched. but than 3 more came from nowhere. this fcking game is made of glitches

OMG that wasnt a thing the whole game so i didnt even try

I was able to purchase a bow from the guy at the Archery range that was a bit better than Adam's bow. I then trained repeatedly at the archery range since the bow is the best weapon for Theresa (and it's an easy way to make bank).
Just rememebr to create a user.cfg and add this:
wh_pl_showfirecursor=1

The quest to find Herbs and Linen rather sucks - it is a fetch quest with no specific location - and in the dark. Totally the worst quest design IMO.

I know you found them, but this is where they are for others that may ready the thread:

Marigolds are in the Northern (Top) part of the Lettered Search Area ("C" i think?) - and near the Eastern Edge (to the right). There is a sinlge cuman walking around up here - you can kill him from stealth with a bow shot (or 2 or 3 - just remember to back up while drawing your bow) - and then you should be able to see a torch that is stuck in the ground. Also, when you take the Cuman's gear, you should find a Nighthawk (night-vision) potion that will help you find them in the dark.

For linen, i found half of what i needed at a busted Wagon - again, lit by a torch in the ground. And the rest was from "Bandages" that i found in the Cave and from dead bodies - you get a "xx bandages can be used for yy Linen" message.

Just take your time, and don't feel rushed. Even though your brother is dying, it seems he will wait for you to return.

I must admit this mission is a little tedious, yes it can be done but what a total ball ache!

Dog's useless; Cumans instantly turn around when you're 3 feet behind them (with a '0' noise stat). DLC is borked. Did find 2 Marigold. Going to dith this DLC and go back to the main game as it was far more interesting

The merigold/bandages quest made me almost quit the game :D Most annoying "tips" are along the lines of "you should have gotten bandages from three saves earlier." yeah, thanks a lot.

Went back a few saves and I'm back on the main quest now - so glad I did as I'm now enjoying it again (most amused to see/hear Brian Blessed)

You know what hard is ? I did it on hardcore mode with no map so I literally had no idea where I was in the dark. I had to use the two 'accidents' as reference points. Having said that............ Theresa can stealth kill Cumans. There is Nighthawk potion on one or two of them. The locations of those damn linen cloths is out there on youtube. As for myself, I was never able to get enough bandages. I was one short and had to go get the linen cloth. I wish I'd done it on normal mode, tbh. It was hard. Fun though.

Sniping them in the head is a lot easier and less risky, makes exploring for the various items less of a hassle too.

Finding the marigold/bandages is just about paying attention to surroundings and trial/error.
No shame in using a guide if it's proving to be 'unfun' to anyone.
