Why is the collision in this game so bad?

- Tries to step over a 1 inch tall rock. BLOCKED.
- Tries to walk through a bush. BLOCKED
- Tries to mantle over a wall that is half my height. NOPE.

I mean, I'm having fun despite it. But seriously, this is some of the worst collision detection I've ever seen in a game.

No, this game is clunky as hell. The collision is horrid even in the fighting. I can swing or stab at people that are not 2 feet in front of me and the sword will just ghost right through them sometimes.

Also, for the people who say ever tried to do things in Armor and what not. If you are trying to say they are going for reality then why sometimes if you are stuck on a small incline on a rock or bush if you jump it throws you 10 feet backward?

Not to mention if you come up against guys wearing only cloth with no armor, not even leather armor do they sometimes take multiple hits without going down?

One hit with a sword and it would be game over in real life if all you had was cloth shirts and pants or tights. Yet I have encountered it several times where they are like the terminator with just a crappy sword or even those crappy sticks yet I could do no damage with my 64 stab and 64 slash sword when I would hit them.

I once ran into the random encounter of armed peasants and they did not have any armor and just had those little sticks clubs. All my Knight armor was at 100% as well as my sword.

There was three or four attacking me yet none of my hitting them with the sword did much damage at all. Usually, if I get in 3 hits they would break and run.

Yet these dudes they were like the terminator and eventually beat me like a red-headed stepchild even though I hit them all 3 or 4 times or even more on some.

My favorite is getting stuck at the top of stairs when going up. Stuck on what exactly? NO ONE KNOWS!!

I think my fav had to be the time I was on a small hill got stuck on a bush so I hit jump I got thrown a good 20 or so feet into the air backwards I actually flew over a road and landed at the edge of a river and as soon as I landed I instantly died even though I had the perk to take basically no fall damage but I got shot so far up int the air when I landed I died.

Moving faster = being not blocked by things, quite obviously. Maybe it's different in murica but it's impossible to go through european forest in a straight line
