Kingdom Come: Deliverance

Kingdom Come: Deliverance

İstatistiklere Bak:
Why is the collision in this game so bad?
- Tries to step over a 1 inch tall rock. BLOCKED.
- Tries to walk through a bush. BLOCKED
- Tries to mantle over a wall that is half my height. NOPE.

I mean, I'm having fun despite it. But seriously, this is some of the worst collision detection I've ever seen in a game.

Try other CryEngine games for more glorious impassable ankle-high obstacles!

I reaaaally doubt the engine doesn't allow developers to simply turn off collision on certain objects. There's no way in hell a tiny shrub should have the same collision properties as a solid brick wall.

You ever tried going through a bush?
You ever tried jumping over a chest high wall fully decked out in armour? With a weapon, a bow and arrows and maybe a shield?

Let us now how you get on.

- Yep.
- Yep. It didn't feel like hitting a brick wall.

Nah you probably haven't. Dunno about other things you mentioned but I like the impenetrable bushes. If bushes IRL were like in say witcher or skyrim - why would humans ever use roads?

Because you would move faster on roads than in the bushes?

Moving Faster != being blocked by things. Try again.

Moving faster = being not blocked by things, quite obviously. Maybe it's different in murica but it's impossible to go through european forest in a straight line
I have come across a few glitches also:) like running down the road with 10 swords and a halberd in your underpants, "And no" have not tried it as I could not find a halberd, so just went with sword's. Ended up with a little prick

What if I told you that forests aren't homogenous lumps of trees. Word on the street is that they can contain vegetation of varying thicknesses, and collision properties.

( Even in Europe!)

A shrub should not block a heavily armored knight. Period.

It should and it does, better get over it or play other games that ignore the laws of physics

If anything, to be realistic you'd get snagged on branches, tear your clothes, get vegetation and branches caught in your chain mail, have to turn around and cut it out, possibly trip and roll your ankle in the shrub, etc.
So what about getting caught on little pebbles of rock? Is that realism(tm) ?

Love to know how you crazy fanbois will explain this one :awkward:
To mantle over a wall or fence at any height I just press the space bar whether on horse or on foot , press it when your close the fence and the action is automated just dont touch the w.
How heavy are you this is important.
If your carry weight is even just over by a smidgen you wont be able to run jump and walk over rocks. Do you see an icon with man carrying a bag? Its at the end of your health bar on the right
Edit
and you wont be able to Fast Travel.

Nah, wasn't over-encumbered. I tried doing it in the Cuman encampment (by the cooking pot) and failed.

I also regularly fail to get out of rivers by trying to climb up the banks. They are maybe like... 2 or 3 feet high at most
Your not seeing this?

Are you wounded bad ankle.
Any icons to the right of your health bar.
With rivers I get the same unless there is a fairly smooth edge to jump up ontop I cant get out and just walk up till I find a smoother ledge, sometimes looting a grave I get stuck in it but only cause I'm over weight.
