Day/Night Cycle
For how realistic and in depth this game is in every aspect i am sort of puzzles as to why a full day in game is only like half an hour real time. Seems way too fast but ive learned to accept it. Feels like its on double speed or something.

KCD time is 15x faster than IRL. It is indeed ridiculous.

Can be fixed using cheat mod, but this solution has its own problems since waiting/sleeping/bathing time is hard-tied to the time acceleration ratio.
Have to remember to unfix it every time or get screwed.

Agreed. Time moves way too quickly. It breaks immersion to some extent.

huh. I didn't notice it passed so fast. Though now that I think about it I've had individual fights take me from evening to past sunset. That or hunting outings that start relatively early and end well past nightfall.

Every 4min IRL is 1hr in game. So every 1hr 36min IRL is 24hr in game.

Lol old post but yeah that doesnt seem long enough thats just 45 mins per daylight. Get up at crack of dawn maybe do some training with bernard or archery and then possibly go hunting for a bit and its night time just like that. WHich is fine cause then its time to sneak around and level lockpicking lol
Traveling from skalitz to Rattey, it takes 3 in games hours. So that is like 12 minutes irl? We are just lil kids playing in a big shopping mall.

i seen a mod that slows time to be same as real time, so 1 hour in game is 1 hour irl,
that mod is defo on the workshop on nexus. havent tried it tho dont know if it works or is compatible with saves.

seems this mod also makes "skip time" take real life hours also, so think twice before use it

Yeah haha. I was gonna mention “ik it’s old post” but just left it out. Just started playing the game this past week though, and timed it cause I noticed after getting to Rattay time seemed to pass in a blink.

Actually when you train with Bernard time doesn't advance. I've trained for hours or more and it was still the same time as when I started. So you can train with Bernard as long as you want really without worry.
