Base Game + Royal DLC Package is cheaper than Royal Edition
Any reason for this? If I buy the base game and DLC Package separately it will cost £14.99 + £12.74, which is £27.73. The Royal Edition which includes the base game and the DLC is £30.44.

It's around £3 cheaper to buy them separately, and the Royal Edition doesn't include any extras. Am I missing something?

Looks like you aren't missing anything - seems to be as you say.

Only thing to add I guess, is you can get the base game (+ Surviving Mars and other mystery games later) on Humble Monthly for $12 (about £9.58).

So £9.58 + £12.74 for the Royal DLC = £22.32 (ish) (including a bunch of other games)

Yeah I'm considering buying the humble monthly, strangely the DLC Package isn't advertised on the store page and you have to go onto an individual DLC to be offered it. The cost of the base game is deducted from the Royal Edition, but it is still cheaper to buy the DLC Package and the humble monthly.

If you are allready a member of humble monthly you can chose to end the subscription and they will offer you to stay for a 3 dollar (or eqvivalent i guess) discount, at least it did for me.

Didn't see the same deal. I didn't see any individual DLC that says Royal Edition. All I see is a royal edition bundle, that costs a lot more than the base game. I own the base game, and to buy the complete bundle, I still need to pay $35 while it's still on the steam sale.

The humble bundle monthly was a fantastic deal though, only $12 for KC:D and a handful of other games. That's a steal. :steamhappy:

I hope this link works. It's a collection of all the DLC besides the soundtracks. If you compare it to the Royal Edition it includes the same stuff (minus the base game).

Awesome, thanks for the link. Only $17 at the moment :steamhappy:

I don't know if it's worth the money, but it's much cheaper than $35.
