Maybe your controls are messed up and you need reset them in the controls-menu?
Or check steam files for errors:
Right-click -> properties -> local files -> check for errors

i can't thank you enough, my pc's language was set to arabic and i tried everything to fix that.

you are the only one with this solution and it fixed it for me
