What actually happens if you kill Kuno in Band of Bastards?

I know i've posted two things in one day, but besides that, i'm actually intrigued. The first thing i do when i get into an area is literally steal everything. I knocked out every member of the band of bastards, and tried to loot them, but failed. My lockpicking wasn't high enough to try the Very Hard locked chest outside, but when i went into the tent to try Sir Kuno, i noticed something. I knocked him out, and it had the option to kill. None of the others had an option to kill. I tested this out by saving and then killing kuno, but all it said was "Kuno is dead" quest completed. I'm confused now. What did i do?

Nothing. Kuno dead = BOB story over.
