Ranking the DLC?
Would anyone care to rank the DLC from best to worst? I understand this is subjective, but I'd like to hear opinions, given the mixed reviews on a couple of the packs. Thanks in advance!

Woman's Lot - Longest in terms of story line, Johanka questline is great medieval roleplaying, and you get a doggo.
Band of Bastards - Fun questline which rewards top tier gear.
From the Ashes - Village building mechanic adds something new, but a bit thin.
Amorous Adventures - Short and too much of that is pretending to be a ghost rather than hanging out with your Bro Han.

But buy the royal dlc pack, it's only a few quid more than Woman's lot, and actually represents value for money. The problem with the early DLC is that they were short, not that they were of poor quality (some had some bad bugs at start, Amorous especially, but they are patched now).

Keep in mind the DLC is all extremely slim on content. The DLC as a whole will not provide you more than a few hours of content, whereas the base game is usually something like 50 hours.

Cost wise it's not very good, but if you buy it all on G. 2. A (have to spell funny on steam) for like $10 it's not so bad.

Both band of bastards and amorous adventures have 3-4 'quests' each, where each quest boils down to 'go there, do/get that, come back'.

The Ashes DLC was honestly more enjoyable for me because it had some kind of impact on the world and 'lasted' in the game, where it took a large portion of game progress to advance to the end of the village restoration, but even that DLC boils down to a new small village and a small Groschen income.

I agree with this. Though i might put from the ashes ahead of band of bastards. Also right now im doing Theresas missions and it makes me hate a woman's lot... though it is the best one

1. Ashes - because it integrates with the main game so well
2. Woman's Lot - lots of content, best money value
3. Bastards - great while it lasts, then all the sudden it's over
4. Sir Hans - If I can play as Therese, why can't I play as Hans? missed opportunity

just my opinion, I know other players will have different opinions :)

I think they are all adding stuff to the game that is fun, I mean they are different experiences yeah but you cant rly tell if you havent tried them yourself and also its not a scam like say EA games DLC's.

There's as much content in A Woman's Lot as all the other DLCs combined.

I like 'Treasures of the Past' that has to be among the bestest of the best DLC that ever was conceived... Completely devoid of integration into the story, just freebie grab bags to grease the wheels of complete spectrum mentally challenged.

Don't get me wrong, I like this game, but a lot of production decisions are just, pathetic...

Yeah u might want to skip treasures of the past it really unbalances the gameplay xD

1- A Woman`s Lot. 9.8
2- From the Ashes. (very good but too short) 8
3- Band of Bastards. (very good too, but too short too) 7.5
4- The Amorous Adventures of Bold Sir Hans Capon (way too short) 6
In the DLC "A Woman`s Lot." I was hoping for the story of finding the sword to be resolved, unfortunately it was not so. I hope it is resolved in a new dlc although I think "A Woman`s Lot." is the last. If so, then I expect it to be resolved in KCD 2. I want KCD 2 !!!!

From what I expect, and this is purely speculation and tidbits of community info, KCD 2 will leave directly off from when Henry and Hans go to the castle to meet the guy in the League of Lords, which will likely have the next game span a rather large portion of Bohemia relative to the single fief in KCD if my intuition is right.

I imagine you'll be rallying people to help or fight sigismunds army depending on the league of lords, inevitably chasing down Toth and Von Aulitz.

If what you say is some kind of information, it makes me very very happy, and if they are just wishes, I strongly add myself!

There is also potential leaks about the game being framed set in 1503 concerning an image on their twitter, which would be some hundred years after KCD. Things could go a couple different ways, so I'm holding myself back from jumping the gun, so it's all definitely just speculation thus far.

It's mostly expected still that KCD is going to be a 'trilogy' of Henry's story, which could make for the potential of the KCD trilogy being a 'series' in it's own, and KC 2 could be a seperate storyline that is set 100 years later. Lots of exciting possibilities, and considering most of the engines bugs have been exhaustively worked out since release, I have high hopes for this series as a whole.

To be clear, TasteDasRainbow is right, the next game will follow up on Henry's journey. KCD was originally slated to be 3 parts, each their own game. Parts 1 and 2 were merged into the KCD we have now. Part 3 will be KCD2, and will complete the "trilogy" story arc of Henry.

I wonder if we'll be able to start from the last save, or begin a new character (Henry or???) or simply have to level Henry from a new beginning?

I would be fine with it anyway-I'm currently hooked on this game!
