Bit of a spoiler follows;
If you haven't yet engaged the priest, it's not timed at this point. You should be able to go do other stuff until it's time to chat him up.
Once you engage the priest, you'll need to return to him in the evening at the tavern, and depending on your interaction with him, high comedy will ensue. Most of what follows is cutscene (well worth it, too).
The following morning, once you finish with the priest's mission, you'll be on the hunt for a fella in Ledetchko. That next stage has a timer.
