Be aware each time you delete a save it returns to the top so scroll back down to the first
How come it works fine for me?
There is also
Disable cloud remote storage.<< I never use it
Go to KingdomeCome saves folder cut and paste saves you dont want into a new folder.
C:\Users\YOURNAME\Saved Games\kingdomcome\saves
btw: why u just dont delete those files?
i can recommend Total Commander - its file manager
I have played 400+ videogames in my life so dont tell me that the game has some workarounds, or that it isnt honorable to vote a game down "only" because I am presumably to handicapped to delete saves.
A good game should not have workarounds in the first place, and altough Im thankfull that you take the time to answer me, it does nothing more than proof that some studios rely on dividing the gamercommunity and doesnt want to take the blame on their shoulders for an unfinished product.
The story is nice but the game overall is ruined by bugs, terrible face animations, draconian penalties, long waiting sessions, .............. and right now I experienced another bug on the arrow and bow yard where after shooting even more than 7 bow the gameplay is stucked and nothing happens.
Terrible game, altough with enormous potential. Why they dont fix games before releases this days?
Man these forums will never get old
You are hovering over the save you want to delete when you press 'x' right? I'm just saying it because you never know. Don't take offense (just tossing ideas out here)
If you want to mass delete some old saves you can probably just delete them from here:
C:\Users\[USERNAME]\Saved Games\kingdomcome\saves\playline0
I'm not saying this as a workaround, but as a way of convenience since it's annoying to select 1 save at a time and smashing 'x' over and over (assuming you were to get yours to work).
A possible fix for you may be copying all your saves to another folder, reinstalling the game, then putting them back.
(Take my advice at your own risk. I personally haven't tried it)
when you make this issue by yourself.. or by your incompetency to work with your computer.. what prevent deleting files.. then its not a game issue :-D
and gratz for 400+ games played in your life
1) it means nothing about your computer knowledge
2) it means nothing - ppl who play games have many times more games played than you
can i recommend u some book what learn u basic work with your PC?
As I mentioned before cases when you can't delete something usually happen because of system issues (admin rights and that sort of thing)
Or - less often - steamcloud
You also never gave any details about the issue. Like what are you trying to do (step by step) and at which exact point things don't work
So don't be surprised if people will assume you just haven't found the X button
i think you have to go to your save folder and disable the read only property, i remember having to do it, i just dont remember if it was for this specifically
while youre there, open the game, load the save you want, then delete the saves trough the folder before returning to the game to save
