But I totally agree with you. I liked it in almost every detail.

I think bratwurst is right even in a small way. This game sold over 2M copies, Skyrim over 10M copies, WoW/Minecraft over 100M copies. You lower the specs, you get more buyers.
Don't think the $30 price hurt them though. Found the budget was $36M and sold over 2M copies by 18 months after release. Do the math, they made money. Now they'll make even more with the lower price, but more importantly, when most owners are finally able to get a gpu upgrade, they'll be able to play it, love it, and ask about KCD2. It's the games that drive gamers to upgrade their rigs.
There's no way I would be immersed in this game the way I am if it didn't look as good. I call it the #1 fps rpg, and I'm curious if CP2077 can compete with this game.
I think nVidia should've included this game for their newer cards when the 2080 series came out, or maybe KCD2 gets a deal with nVidia. KCD2 can use the same engine and be fine, this time they'll have more time to optimize and keep it looking fantastic.
Judging by many of the complaints I am guessing the lowering the "specs" of the users requirements, not their computers creates more sales.
oh is it 2 years already? i find it a very premium AAA title. even after 2 years, its price shouldn't be as modest. but its not a bad thing, i like it
skyrim has a lot of quantity but not a deep, story that grips you. oblivion was great because it was also humorous for its intended bugs.
but no, kingdom come is a truly polished one.
I play this game on a computer which is almost 10 years old.
Makes me wonder if those crying are really playing on potato pc's older than 10 years or they are doing it to get attention, like how a baby would to get fed.
My mistake. It was available to pre-purchase as of Aug 17, 2017 (2 years ago). Released, like you said, on Feb 13, 2018.
I love this game.
So much so I want to do some more research to properly answer the OP. I'll start here by posting day 1 review numbers and the video from IGN which gave it a 80/100. IGN gave Skyrim (2011) a 95/100.

Note in his video review, the only negative was bugs and the 'optimization' of the engine where he said he uses the same rig for W3 but got better performance with that game *facepalm*. Do you think bugs is why he gave this game a 8.0 instead of a 9.5 like Skyrim? Do you think the name Bethesda helped to inflate Skyrim's numbers?
Ignore everything I said for a moment. Pretend you are comparing the above video like you would a trailer for a game, does it have high production quality? Now compare that to IGN's same review for Skyrim (2011).
