DX hung error *FIXED* so far!

Just downloaded this game and cant seem to get it to run for more than a couple of minutes without it crashing or getting a "DX hung" error of some sort.

I've tried altering graphics setting, even down to medium...

Current set up:
Win 10
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU
AMD Radeon 5700XT
16GB Kingston hyper X
DX12

I shouldnt be having any issues graphically with this game as i can run all others on High/Ultra, so not sure what the issue is?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Update your gpu drivers from manufacturer

Tried all of that, within 10 seconds of opening the game same error came up...

its issue with your graphic card.. hw or overclocking / wrong driver..
when u google name of that error, then u see that..

check the kcd.log in the steam game folder. might have an error msg or someindication something is wrong

Try running the game.exe as administrator.
To find the game launcher go here and right click it.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Bin\Win64
You could also try running it in compatibility mode for windows 7 open the properties of the launcher open compatibility Tab. Apply
restart your PC if it hasnt been restarted recently.
Reinstalling game as last option.

Just a quick update. Been playing with the motherboard bios today while fiddling with overclocking etc. Managed to also update the bios version. Had the game on breifly before and no issues so far. Will have a look at all of the above and update as needed. Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately the error is now back again. Seemed it had been dealt with. Sadly not. Nothing seems to work to fix it. Shame as i was really into the game!

Try changing your power management settings on your card to "prefer maximum performance".

That helped with mine but I'm running with Nvidia. Not sure about AMD.

This guy resolved it buying a better PSU some rolled the drivers back . Same card as yours.
The solution here seems to me to is the psu is not enough too old consider buying a higher wattage solves it.
I use an 850w Antek.
How big is your power supply unit? 600 w?

Ive got a 2 month old seasonic focus plus 750w 80 plus gold. So cant be that. When i can run ultra settings on almost any game without fault?

Their issues are with all games. My issues lie solely with this one!

Ive played apex, on highest settings. No problems. Played warhammer total war 1 and 2 on max settings and no issues. I regularly play mordhau on pretty much max settings and no issues.

I know, my brother recommended the game and i played a few hours and cleared the first town after the initial issues i'd had, so was quite invested in actually playing the game!

The log just lists

Which i've had no luck in identifying what it is. Would that be the same for windows 10?

Which OS are you running?
I'm playing it on windows 7.
To answer you yes possibly.
Usualy directx problems could be caused from over clocked cpu or a video card that is outdated and does not support backwards compatible but your gpu is fine.
Please explain with more details , would that be the same for windows 10.

What does the KCD.log show?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance

Try runing the game.exe in campatibily mode for windows 7.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\KingdomComeDeliverance\Bin\Win64> KingdomCome.exe
right click it properties compatibility
also run as administrator.
Then create a shorcut send to desktop.
Really really hope that helps

one last idea
open the run type in dxdiag press enter
run 64 bit dxdiag
then open display. all 3d etc enabled.
