Horse traders don’t sell Armor just clothes

That is false. Build the smithy in newhomes and you get a selection of leather and plate chanfron.

There is also a scale and maille chanfron and criniere which can be found in two locations in the wild. One requires lockpicking, but is trivial to reach... the other requires being a mountain goat, but no other skills.

can you elaborate on where to find the scale and mail chanfron?

Hi guys so in my time in game i have located Chanfron head armor for my horse 1st location is half way up a clift side along the path leading from ledechgo (or how ever you spell it) to the miller (you normaly find bandits and guards fighting just below it)

The 2nd is buy from a trader after you win and rebuild the town of pribilviz (or how ever you spell it)
You build the Horse stables and upgrade it and the horse trader there offers Leather and Mail Chanfron (head armor) for your horse

As so far to date i have not found body armor from chest or by trader ( i dont think they added the body armor to the game)

For the location of the Head armor there are Youtube videos on where to find it and how to climb down the clift side with out dieing
