Hello Anomaly Observers,

We are proud to release an update 0.8.3.0 that includes many new exciting additions and changes.

Hacking Mode

Hackers will now show up randomly during contracts to disrupt your shift.

Quality of Life changes

Faster and more satifsfying gameplay
Difficulty changes

All changes list:

Added New Hacking Mechanics and Minigames

Added queue for notifications

Added new shop item
Added new menu video
Added tutorial in Help section for new minigames
Fixing anomaly screen now only shows when fixed anomaly is on screen
Reduced time for fixing anomaly and fixing anomaly screen
Reduced anomaly spawn rate in third game phase
Dices of destiny will no longer spawn anomaly when amount of anomalies is already high
Increased global scales for growth/shrink anomaly

Hello Anomaly Observers,

We’re excited to reveal a major update we’ve been working on for quite some time. This update introduces an entirely new hacking system that will significantly change the way you experience each contract.

During your observation, a hacker can interfere at any moment, disrupting your duty and forcing you to adapt on the fly. This adds a new layer of tension and unpredictability to the gameplay loop.

The update will be released on Thursday, March 19, 2026.

Some bugs (demo)

Definitely a game in the upper end of anomaly games, but a few bugs let it down: Flashlight/torch/'reflector' doesn't work (after purchase, obviously). Turning off and on 'clicks' but no light appears under the cursor. Oddly it briefly worked during a camera anomaly (zoomed back / crazy wide field of view in the basement - maybe happens on the same camera anomaly elsewhere, but that's where I saw it by chance). The colour change of the left tiki head in the lounge looked more like a green lighting effec...
