Chat box grabbing focus

No sure if I'm doing something inadvertently but often I go to move and find the arrow keys don't work because the chat box at bottom left has 'stolen' focus. I deleted the key bind to put focus on the chat box so why does it keep happening? I'm playing single player only and would prefer it if I could remove the chat box altogether.

By default, there's some accessibility binds bound to the arrow keys. When you are configuring your binds, search for "focus" and remove all the ones that use the arrow keys if you don't want them used for focus as well.

Thank you, I just discovered that 'up' was causing the issue and came back here to add that info! I'll remove the 'focus' key binds as you suggest.

I think this game has way too many hotkeys. Some could at least not be enabled by default.
