Learned something interesting about the skeletal mage wand

Since some people might consider this a minor spoiler...
When the wand is destroyed in a fire it will drop 1 Charcoal and 1 Magical Essence.
I discovered it by accident when a drake torched a near by skeletal mage corpse and I happened to spot the essence in the fire. As such if you want to 'store' magical essence collect wands and burn them when you need it.

that is super useful. FYI for anyone else it looks like you have to drop the wand on to an open fire and then wait a few turns. I wasn't able to put it into a kiln. Tongs are helpful to avoid catching on fire, similarly to retrieving charcoal.
