HOW TO CURE POISON? PLEASE HELP

If anyone knows how to make something to cure poison, please do tell!

I've tried everything and I will die YET again if I can't find some way. Stupid f'ckin Zombies.

Howdy. A cure for poison requires 2 medicinal items such as: flower, thistle or roots. Simply craft a purified water container and then craft the medicinal water.

If you are wearing full iron and have a full base setup it might not be a bad idea to carry around at least oen medicinal water for insurance. Keep some healing items in your backpack, too and you should be able to survive it. Sutures and bandages only weigh 0.1.

I took me days just to figure out how to make medicinal, there is F-ALL help in this game. It doesn't tell you AT ALL what items are needed to make medicinal.

I just find a nook and sleep it off if i have no meds. Odd keeping a heavy wall with me but it works in a pinch.

this isn't a game that'll take you by the hand and lead you all through everything, its a game of discovery, and survival. not a huge base building game , unless thats what you want and you've already worked out what and how to survive. if / when you have all the item needed to make something it'll show up in the crafting. if its not showing up then you still need to find more stuff.

I found poison and bleeding cures in the first 30 minutes... can't be so hard.

I just can't find enough Plant Roots. I walk out my front door, and there is like 5+ mobs around that can poison me. 3 Boglings, 2 Spiders, and a Zombie. And I'm only at 18k. If I get poisoned, there goes 40-50% of my health.
I don't have any Iron Armor yet, so I'm not sure how I'm able to even kill them. So I'm currently stuck inside my base, all 4 exits blocked by monsters I can't kill, who inflict poison I can't cure.

you can easily farm plant roots, flower petals, and/or thistles once you have compost which isn't too hard make.

I think if you use a shovel on grass you can get plant roots.

I have never gotten plant roots from grass, the only way I know is to "destroy" a plant by gathering it, and then sometimes I'll get one. Is this the only way? Plants are rare at the start until I get a good farm going.
