Wayard is excellent

Because tomorrow (4/22) is the release, I just wanted to put in my 2cents for anyone new - this game is excellent. I've been playing the free online version (http://www.unlok.ca/wayward/), and its great.

To me, it plays like a much more accessible version of UnReal World. Definately better graphics and interface, and less depth - which sounds bad, but IMHO its a good thing here. Has a bit of a turn-based Don't Starve feel as well for those that haven't played UnReal World. Still plenty of depth to keep you going a long time.

I'm glad its finally on Steam.

We'll definately be improving the depth over time. UnReal World has a few years on us, hah!

Survival sims are still quite hot (even those on other planets like TKoM), and I'm looking forward to Wayward doing well. I haven't played in at least 18 months, so it should all be fresh and interesting.

hopefully some of the bugs i remmber from the free online version arent present (backpacks becoming non functional losing items and such) those were really the only thing that turned me away from the title. everything else was a nice simple survival sim with a good goal.
