Step 4 : Profit!
This is one of those "trial and error" deals where I would just try and see if it works. So many people prefer to use a mouse and keyboard that I would think the devs would build it in.
I also do not have any 3rd party peripheral software installed onto my pc.
I played with a controller, and when one of the cats hit the mouse, it definitely responded, so you can even play a combination of the two~!
I have a steam controller dongle plugged in and I'm not going to remove it just for the maybe 2 games in my library that cannot handle controllers properly.
Punching a dead horse here, but I just played the game with my mouse and keyboard, whilst my Steam Controller was active and linked. I could switch between the two whenever I'd like, even mid-game.
Other thing is the game uses an inverse? mouse setting I move the mouse up and yet I look down, an invert mouse setting I believe? is used in some games for this but I cannot see it.
Maybe it's just my PC but is this the right way and is what happens for other players? Also it does not like having my Belkin Game Pad connected in the settings menu while in game, it just runs riot auto changing everything all on it's own but works fine in the main game which is odd?
