Implants cap?

i am in NG+3 and have 34 slots - is that the max, or do i have to spend more on upgrade corepower?

Hi Hualahn,

36 slots appears to be the max for me on NG+4 upward, BUT when starting a NG+5, I dropped back down to 34 slots until I unlocked the Ventilation Tower rig and the Security Captain rig.

However, I've not tried since the expansion dropped this morning to see if there's more slots.

And btw? have you tried yet the challenge rooms with 4 multipliers? have fun gettin your butt wooped :D in NG+3 it can be a lil frustrating

And just have seen that you got all dlc achieves already. How the hell did you do that. Dont you have to collect all armor from all bosses?. Would mean with 9 episodes you have to run at least 36 times to get them parts, not even talking about all them muötplier parts.

Thats what i'm saying i went in with a maxed out 34 slot character using Claws of Gestalt which were doing over 1k damage. But that didn't matter when you go in weaponless. When you go with the no healing which imho is easiest you just go max hp towards the end with episode 9 i had 2.8k hp cutting a limb off healed me for 60% hp with a large over heal buffer as well.

The only Multipliers that are remotely difficult is the Combo one there is no hint or indication of timing and the go armourless one the last 4 are pretty easy.

Good tip use your drone with the knockdown, mod for increased drone damage, energy gain and use the MG Gorgon set the increased Stamina regen and -50% drone makes it a joke

The whole scaling of NG+ actually wasn't hard enough maybe i'll replay the game again but after doing fully 4 times the difficulty doesn't change sure you do way more damage and take way more damage. I was dissappointed honestly. But i can't wait for The Surge 2

I have no issue with op enemies right now. Although i only just finished episode 3 completely. Got just the achieve for all armor, didnt think thats possible already in episode 3. And do you know how to get them v2.0 weapons?. I dont even get them with highest chance :( Is there a secret routine like in the base game?

The more Modifiers you select for an Episode, the more you increase your "Frontier Gear" chances and "Frontier V2" chances (they are reflected on the bottom right of the Episode Selection screen) which means :
- Enemies will have more chances to carry some Frontier Riders gear (V1)
- Challengers will have more chances to carry some Frontier Riders V2 gear (With 2 Modifiers for example, they might only have a V2 Head Gear of their set while with 4 Modifiers on, they will wear the complete set, giving you more opportunities to cut the piece you want)

Also, selecting modifiers during a run will net you a specific reward such as cool hats, boots, implants and gold weapons!

Please please make the difficultly scaling steaper with the NG+ modes in The Surge 2 maybe adding extra phases to bosses, loved the game keep up the good work.

Thx for the info, i got al armor sets and weapons now since i got the achieves. Just hope that some of the secret achieves are not that hard to find ;)

Have you tried high CP implants by increasing your CP to crazy levels?
For example the v4 implants which can help you remove few v5 implants to make space, etc.
Whats your current CP?

just closed the game with 100% gained ;). CP is around 230. I wont get mor implant slots so if i want to use them fresh wine-red and purples i would need to invest a lotta scraps into raising CP. But since i finished it now 100% (again) i will lay it to rest. Was a nice ride. Cant wait to play the surge 2 ;)

I was asking because there is a way to get sort of unlimited CP if you feel like doing a NG, you probably saw the thread I posted about it?

no i didnt. but i am really done now with the game. I had 4 complete playthroughs and both dlc , all completed 100%. The surge 2 can come now ;)

Why are you trying to ruin the game with this nonsense? There are literally implats to increase your scrap gain think i got 4 of the 40% increase implats its really easy to increase your core power. This dlc even makes it easier getting over 2m in a 5min run.
